Open Android Settings

Caution

Park the vehicle before starting. Menu names can differ by firmware; stop if your screen does not match rather than guessing.

The MG4 home screen does not provide a normal shortcut to all Android settings. This route uses the on-screen keyboard to reach them before installing an APK.

1. Open an application with a text field and show the on-screen keyboard. The Amazon Music email or login field is one known route.
2. Long-press the comma (,) or @ key.
3. Open Language settings.
4. Use the settings search button and search for backup.
5. Open the result. If it leads to an empty page, press Back once; this should reveal the main Android Settings panel.
6. Enable Developer options only if the next installation step requires them.

This route is observed behaviour, not a guaranteed interface contract. Firmware updates may change it. Make sure you can return to the stock home screen before proceeding.
